| Product Name | BsmBI Restriction Endonuclease (10 U/uL) |
| Catalog No. | IVDRM-0527 |
| Description | A type IIS endonuclease that recognises the non-palindromic sequence 5 prime CGTCTC(N)1 3 prime and cuts outside the recognition site, BsmBI is widely used for Golden Gate assembly, where the distal cleavage behaviour of type IIS enzymes enables efficient seamless assembly of multiple DNA fragments, and for fragment cloning and expression vector construction. The enzyme is supplied with an optimised dedicated buffer containing recombinant albumin for improved stability and runs at 55°C, with heat inactivation at 80°C for 20 minutes. CpG methylation fully overlapping the sequence blocks cutting, EcoBI methylation may affect it, and Dam, Dcm and EcoKI methylation have no effect. |
