| Product Name | BsaI Rapid Restriction Endonuclease (20 U/uL) |
| Catalog No. | IVDRM-0390 |
| Description | Recognising 5 prime GGTCTC(N)1^ 3 prime, this rapid recombinant endonuclease cuts one base outside its asymmetric recognition sequence, a property widely exploited in assembly cloning strategies that need custom overhangs. It digests plasmid DNA, PCR products and genomic DNA within 5 to 15 minutes, is supplied at 20 U/uL, and operates in the shared rapid series buffer at 37°C with heat inactivation at 80°C for 20 minutes. Dam, Dcm, EcoKI and EcoBI methylation do not affect cutting, while CpG methylation fully overlapping the site blocks it. |
| Intended Use | Rapid digestion with cleavage outside the recognition site for assembly cloning and general DNA fragmentation |
| Principle / Technology | Site specific cleavage one base outside 5 prime GGTCTC(N)1 3 prime within 5 to 15 minutes at 37°C |
| Specificity | Dam, Dcm, EcoKI and EcoBI methylation have no effect; CpG methylation fully overlapping the site blocks cleavage |
| Reaction Conditions / Protocol | Digest in 1x rapid restriction buffer at 37°C for 5 to 15 minutes; heat inactivate at 80°C for 20 minutes |
| Storage Conditions | -25 to -15°C |
| Shelf Life | 2 years |
| Package Specifications | 50 T |
| Key Features | Cleavage outside the recognition sequence enables flexible overhang design; one shared buffer across the series |
| Concentration | 20 U/uL |
| Readouts / Downstream Assays | Agarose gel analysis of digested fragments |
For in vitro diagnostic use.
