| Product Name | BpiI Restriction Endonuclease (10 U/uL) |
| Catalog No. | IVDRM-0525 |
| Description | A type IIS restriction enzyme that specifically recognises 5 prime GAAGAC(N)2 3 prime and cuts downstream of the site to produce a four base 5 prime overhang, BpiI is one of the common enzymes for Golden Gate DNA assembly. It runs in the shared rapid series buffer at 37°C and is heat inactivated at 80°C for 20 minutes, and it can be combined with other enzymes of the rapid series for double digestion in routine cloning or fragment verification beyond assembly workflows. BstV2I and BbsI are recognised isoschizomers. |
| Intended Use | Golden Gate assembly, routine cloning and digestion-based fragment verification |
| Principle / Technology | Type IIS cleavage two bases outside 5 prime GAAGAC(N)2 3 prime producing a four base 5 prime overhang |
| Sample Type | Plasmid DNA and assembly modules for Golden Gate workflows |
| Specificity | Isoschizomers BstV2I and BbsI; four base 5 prime overhang distal to the site |
