| Detection Principle | Sodium ions in serum can generate precipitation with potassium pyroantimonate in weakly alkaline solution, and the resulting turbidity is proportional to the concentration of sodium ions within a certain range, and the serum sodium content can be quantitatively detected by determining its turbidity. |

| Note | After blood collection, the content determination should be completed as soon as possible, avoiding the use of sodium citrate anticoagulant; if the absorbance value exceeds the linear range of the standard absorbance value: higher than the highest value, it is recommended that the sample to be tested should be appropriately diluted with anhydrous ethanol and then measured; lower than the lowest value, it is recommended to appropriately adjust the ratio of serum to anhydrous ethanol and then measured, and the calculations should be modified accordingly. |
