| Product Name | BglI Rapid Restriction Endonuclease (10 U/uL) |
| Catalog No. | IVDRM-0396 |
| Description | This rapid recombinant endonuclease recognises the bipartite degenerate sequence 5 prime GCC(N)4^NGGC 3 prime and supports vector construction plus general DNA fragment operations in gene engineering work. It cleaves plasmid DNA, PCR products and genomic DNA within 5 to 15 minutes, is supplied at 10 U/uL, and digests in the common rapid series buffer at 37°C with heat inactivation at 80°C for 20 minutes. CpG methylation influences cleavage at overlapping sites while Dam, Dcm, EcoKI and EcoBI methylation are tolerated. |
| Intended Use | Vector construction and DNA fragment manipulation in gene engineering workflows |
| Principle / Technology | Site specific cleavage at 5 prime GCC(N)4^NGGC 3 prime within 5 to 15 minutes at 37°C |
| Specificity | CpG methylation affects cleavage; Dam, Dcm, EcoKI and EcoBI methylation have no effect |
| Reaction Conditions / Protocol | Digest in 1x rapid restriction buffer at 37°C for 5 to 15 minutes; heat inactivate at 80°C for 20 minutes |
| Storage Conditions | -25 to -15°C |
| Shelf Life | 2 years |
| Package Specifications | 200 T |
| Key Features | Unified buffer across the rapid series; handles excess substrate and difficult templates with ease |
| Concentration | 10 U/uL |
| Readouts / Downstream Assays | Restriction digest pattern on agarose gel |
For in vitro diagnostic use.
