| Product Name | BamHI Rapid Restriction Endonuclease (20 U/uL) |
| Catalog No. | IVDRM-0388 |
| Description | A workhorse for gene cloning and vector construction, this rapid recombinant endonuclease cuts 5 prime G^GATCC 3 prime and finishes digestion of plasmid DNA, PCR products and genomic DNA within 5 to 15 minutes. The preparation is standardised at 20 U/uL and runs in the shared rapid series buffer at its 37°C optimum. Dam, Dcm, CpG, EcoKI and EcoBI methylation have no effect on activity, and no isoschizomers with alternative names are documented. Note that this enzyme cannot be heat inactivated; after digestion, remove it by phenol chloroform extraction or column purification. |
