| Description | Recognising the degenerate site 5 prime C^YCGRG 3 prime, this engineered rapid endonuclease cuts plasmid DNA, PCR products and genomic DNA within 5 to 15 minutes, where Y is C or T and R is A or G. Supplied at 10 U/uL, it performs in the single shared buffer of the rapid series at 37°C and is inactivated at 80°C for 20 minutes. CpG methylation obstructs cleavage at overlapping positions, and the isoschizomers BsiHKCI, Eco88I, BsoBI and Ama87I share this specificity. |
