| Product Name | ApaLI Rapid Restriction Endonuclease (10 U/uL) |
| Catalog No. | IVDRM-0375 |
| Description | Produced by recombinant genetic engineering, this fast acting endonuclease cuts at 5 prime G^TGCAC 3 prime and finishes digestion of plasmid DNA, PCR products and genomic DNA within 5 to 15 minutes. The enzyme is provided at 10 U/uL and operates in the single buffer common to the whole rapid series at its 37°C optimum. Digestion reactions are terminated by heating at 80°C for 20 minutes. CpG methylation overlapping the sequence may block cleavage, an important consideration for methylated templates. |
| Intended Use | Rapid cleavage of plasmid DNA, PCR products and genomic DNA at a defined site |
| Principle / Technology | Site specific cleavage at 5 prime G^TGCAC 3 prime with optimal activity at 37°C |
| Specificity | CpG methylation possibly overlapping the site blocks cleavage |
