| Product Name | ApaI Rapid Restriction Endonuclease (20 U/uL) |
| Catalog No. | IVDRM-0380 |
| Description | This rapid recombinant endonuclease cuts at 5 prime GGGCC^C 3 prime, generating a 3 prime overhang, and processes plasmid DNA, PCR products and genomic DNA within 5 to 15 minutes. Supplied at 20 U/uL, it operates in the shared rapid series buffer and is heat inactivated at 80°C for 20 minutes. Dcm and CpG methylation overlapping the site hinder cleavage while Dam, EcoKI and EcoBI methylation are tolerated, and the isoschizomers Bsp120I and PSpOMI recognise the same sequence. |
| Intended Use | Rapid preparation of DNA fragments from plasmid DNA, PCR products and genomic DNA |
| Principle / Technology | Site specific cleavage at 5 prime GGGCC^C 3 prime within 5 to 15 minutes at 37°C |
| Specificity | Dcm and CpG methylation block cleavage; Dam, EcoKI and EcoBI methylation have no effect; isoschizomers Bsp120I and PSpOMI |
| Reaction Conditions / Protocol | Digest in 1x rapid restriction buffer at 37°C for 5 to 15 minutes; heat inactivate at 80°C for 20 minutes |
| Storage Conditions | -25 to -15°C |
| Shelf Life | 2 years |
| Package Specifications | 200 T |
| Key Features | Single shared buffer across the series; generous activity redundancy |
| Concentration | 20 U/uL |
| Readouts / Downstream Assays | Restriction digest pattern on agarose gel |
For in vitro diagnostic use.
