| Product Name | AluI Rapid Restriction Endonuclease (10 U/uL) |
| Catalog No. | IVDRM-0378 |
| Description | Engineered through recombinant technology, this fast endonuclease recognises the blunt site 5 prime AG^CT 3 prime and digests plasmid DNA, PCR products and genomic DNA in 5 to 15 minutes. It is supplied at 10 U/uL and runs in the common buffer of the rapid series at 37°C, followed by inactivation at 80°C for 20 minutes. CpG and EcoBI methylation obstruct cleavage at overlapping sites, while Dam, Dcm and EcoKI methylation leave activity unchanged, and the isoschizomer AluBI cuts identically. |
| Intended Use | Rapid digestion of plasmid DNA, PCR products and genomic DNA |
| Principle / Technology | Site specific blunt cleavage at 5 prime AG^CT 3 prime within 5 to 15 minutes at 37°C |
| Specificity | CpG and EcoBI methylation block cleavage; Dam, Dcm and EcoKI methylation have no effect; isoschizomer AluBI |
| Reaction Conditions / Protocol | Digest in 1x rapid restriction buffer at 37°C for 5 to 15 minutes; heat inactivate at 80°C for 20 minutes |
| Storage Conditions | -25 to -15°C |
| Shelf Life | 2 years |
| Package Specifications | 50 T |
| Key Features | Unified buffer across the rapid series; robust against substrate overload |
| Concentration | 10 U/uL |
| Readouts / Downstream Assays | Gel based confirmation of digest completion |
For in vitro diagnostic use.
