| Product Name | AgeI Rapid Restriction Endonuclease (20 U/uL) |
| Catalog No. | IVDRM-0376 |
| Description | Recognising 5 prime A^CCGGT 3 prime, this engineered rapid endonuclease linearises plasmids and cuts PCR products or genomic DNA within 5 to 15 minutes. The preparation is standardised at 20 U/uL and performs in the common rapid series buffer at 37°C, with heat inactivation at 80°C for 20 minutes afterwards. CpG methylation at the overlapping sequence obstructs cleavage, and the same site is recognised by the isoschizomers AsiGI, CspAI, BshTI and PinAI. Applications span plasmid linearisation, vector construction and general DNA fragmentation. |
