| Product Name | Acc65I Rapid Restriction Endonuclease (10 U/uL) |
| Catalog No. | IVDRM-0593 |
| Description | Part of a rapid restriction endonuclease series, Acc65I recognises the palindromic sequence 5 prime GGTACC 3 prime and cuts between the two guanines to leave a four base 5 prime overhang, completing digestion of plasmid DNA, PCR products and genomic DNA within 5 to 15 minutes. The rapid series enzymes share a single digestion buffer, which simplifies reaction setup and gives good activity redundancy for over-digestion or difficult templates. The enzyme works at 37°C and is inactivated by 5 minutes at 65°C, and Dcm or CpG methylation of the substrate blocks cleavage. Asp718I is an isoschizomer while KpnI is a neoschizomer. |
