Description The Alta DiagnoTech strong cation-exchange chromatography medium uses high-flow, high-rigidity agarose beads with an open macroporous structure coupled with a sulfonate ligand. It is designed for biomolecule purification with high binding capacity, favorable pressure-flow behavior and straightforward cleaning-in-place.
Intended Use Strong cation-exchange purification of high-molecular-weight proteins such as IgG, IgM and IgA.
Principle / Technology Strong cation-exchange chromatography separates biomolecules according to surface-charge differences.
