Product Name 50 µm High-Capacity Alkali-Tolerant Protein A PMMA Medium ~50 mg/mL Human IgG DBC
Catalog No. IGM-HMM-0246
Description The Alta DiagnoTech Protein A affinity medium uses monodisperse porous polymethyl methacrylate beads with an epoxy-coupled, alkali-tolerant recombinant Protein A ligand. The hydrophilic high-strength matrix is designed for low backpressure, stable column beds and antibody capture at high linear velocity.
Intended Use Affinity capture of monoclonal antibodies and recombinant proteins containing an Fc region, from laboratory preparation through pilot and industrial production.
Principle / Technology Protein A affinity capture on hydrophilically modified PMMA beads using epoxy ligand coupling.
Performance Range / Specifications 50 µm particles; dynamic binding capacity approximately ~50 mg/mL for human IgG at a five-minute residence time; maximum pressure 0.8 MPa; recommended flow 100-800 cm/h.
Storage Conditions 20% ethanol or 2% benzyl alcohol at 2-8 °C
