Product Name 50-320 µm Crosslinked Dextran Gel-Filtration Media for Desalting and Buffer Exchange
Catalog No. IGM-HMM-0251
Description The Alta DiagnoTech crosslinked dextran media are hydrophilic porous beads supplied in four swollen-particle grades. They provide gentle size-based separation for desalting, buffer exchange and removal of small molecules from viruses, proteins, polysaccharides and nucleic acids.
Intended Use Desalting, buffer exchange, removal of small molecules and size-based purification of biomolecules, peptides, oligonucleotides, antibiotics, synthetic drugs and natural products.
Principle / Technology Size-exclusion chromatography on crosslinked dextran beads.
Performance Range / Specifications Four swollen-particle grades: 320, 140, 80 and 50 µm. Fractionation range 100-1,000 Da for linear molecules and 1,000-5,000 Da for globular molecules. Listed maximum flow rates for the four grades are 480, 100, 50 and 11 cm/h, respectively; separately specified flow-rate values are >480, >100, >47 and >11 cm/h.
Storage Conditions 20% ethanol at 4-30 °C
Package Specifications Each particle grade: 100 mL, 500 mL, 1 L and 10 L
