Product Name 32-35 µm PMMA Butyl and Phenyl Hydrophobic Interaction Media Up to 30 mg/mL
Catalog No. IGM-HMM-0285
Description Alta DiagnoTech hydrophobic interaction media use monodisperse, highly crosslinked PMMA microspheres with a hydrophilic surface and immobilized butyl or phenyl groups. High-salt binding and low-salt elution support protein polishing with low nonspecific adsorption, controlled backpressure and a mechanically stable packed bed.
Intended Use Further separation and purification of biomolecules after ion-exchange chromatography.
Principle / Technology Hydrophobic interaction chromatography with biomolecule adsorption at high salt concentration and sequential elution as salt concentration decreases.
Performance Range / Specifications Four variants combine 32 or 35 µm particles with butyl or phenyl ligands and provide approximately 15-30 mg/mL dynamic binding capacity for lysozyme.
Storage Conditions 20% ethanol at 4-25 °C
Package Specifications 30 mL, 100 mL, 500 mL, 1 L, 5 L, 10 L, 50 L and 100 L standard packs
