Product Name Single-Cell and Low-Input Full-Length RNA Library Prep Kit (enzyme-fragmentation)
Catalog No. REKI-0078
Description A complete kit that takes 1 to 1000 cells, or 10 pg to 10 ng of total RNA, through full-length cDNA synthesis and enzyme-fragmentation library construction on both major short-read platforms. Reverse transcription uses template switching to capture complete transcripts while preserving the 5-prime and 3-prime untranslated regions, a coverage advantage over fragmentation-first workflows, at the cost of additional universal adapter and poly(A) sequence within reads. High-quality fragmentation enzymes and a streamlined workflow keep handling short and reproducible.
Intended Use Single-cell transcriptome library construction; low-input RNA sequencing; gene expression and splicing analysis; fusion transcript detection.
Principle / Technology Template-switching reverse transcription generates full-length cDNA that is then fragmented by enzymes, adapter ligated and amplified into sequencing libraries.
Sample Type Single cells, total RNA
Performance Range / Specifications Input 1 to 1000 cells or 10 pg to 10 ng RNA; 96-well and 384-well plate compatible; extraction-free entry.
Specificity Retains 5-prime and 3-prime untranslated regions; adds universal adapter and poly(A) tail sequences.
Reaction Conditions / Protocol Reverse transcribe with template switching, amplify full-length cDNA, fragment enzymatically, ligate adapters and amplify libraries.
Components / Formulation Reverse transcription reagents and enzymatic fragmentation library construction reagents.
Storage Conditions -25 to -15 °C
Package Specifications 8 T, 24 T, 96 T
Product Form Boxed liquid reagent modules
Key Features UTR-preserving coverage; dual-platform compatibility; extraction-free; simplified enzymatic fragmentation.
