| Product Name | RNA Tissue Stabilization Solution |
| Catalog No. | ATR-SPS-0032 |
| Description | A nontoxic liquid preservative designed to maintain RNA integrity in freshly collected soft tissues. The solution rapidly penetrates tissue, inactivates endogenous RNases and enables flexible sample handling before RNA purification. |
| Intended Use | Short- and long-term preservation of fresh soft tissues before total RNA extraction. |
| Principle / Technology | Rapid tissue penetration combined with chemical inactivation of endogenous RNases to stabilize intracellular RNA. |
| Detection Method | Downstream RNA integrity assessment and molecular analysis. |
| Sample Type | Brain, heart, liver, pancreas, kidney, spleen, muscle and other soft animal tissues. |
| Performance Range / Specifications | Preserved tissue may be held at 37°C for 1 day, at room temperature for 1 week, at 4°C for 4 weeks, or at -20°C/-80°C for long-term storage. Repeated freeze-thaw cycles do not significantly affect RNA integrity under the stated conditions. |
| Reaction Conditions / Protocol | Immerse freshly collected tissue completely in the solution. For subsequent -80°C storage, allow the tissue to equilibrate in the solution at 4°C overnight before freezing to support complete penetration. |
| Components / Formulation | Ready-to-use tissue RNA stabilization solution. |
| Storage Conditions | Store the reagent at room temperature. |
| Package Specifications | 100 mL. |
| Product Form | Ready-to-use liquid solution. |
| Key Features | No immediate liquid-nitrogen freezing; rapid tissue penetration; endogenous RNase inactivation; flexible temperature options; compatible with long-term tissue storage. |
| Compatibility | Compatible with phenol-based and spin-column RNA isolation workflows. DNA may also be recovered from preserved tissue when required. |
| Application Notes / Precautions | Not recommended for samples with waxy surfaces or hard shells, blood, plasma, serum, feces, bacteria or fungi with intact cell walls. The solution is intended for tissue preservation rather than storage of purified RNA and is not suitable for protein recovery. |
For research use only, not for clinical use.
