Product Name Rapid Enzymatic DNA Fragmentation with End Repair and A-Tailing Module (dual-platform)
Catalog No. REKI-0087
Description A combined module that fragments DNA enzymatically and completes end repair and A-tailing in the same tube, replacing ultrasonication and collapsing three library steps into one. Fragment size is governed by reaction time alone and stays independent of input amount and GC content, giving predictable insert distributions across 500 pg to 1 ug of animal, plant, microbial or FFPE genomic DNA. Products move directly to adapter ligation without cleanup, cutting both time and sample loss in dual-platform library workflows and automation settings.
Intended Use Enzymatic fragmentation with end repair and A-tailing for animal, plant, microbial and FFPE genome sequencing library construction.
Principle / Technology A high-quality fragmentation enzyme cuts DNA to target sizes while polishing and A-tailing activities prepare ends for adapter ligation in the same reaction.
Sample Type Animal, plant and microbial genomic DNA, FFPE DNA
Performance Range / Specifications Input 500 pg to 1 ug; fragment size controlled by reaction time, independent of input and GC content; automation compatible.
Specificity Combined fragmentation and end repair chemistry in one tube.
Reaction Conditions / Protocol Add genomic DNA to the premix, incubate for the time giving the target insert size, then proceed to adapter ligation without purification.
Components / Formulation Fragmentation with end repair and A-tailing enzyme premix.
