Product Name Pyruvate Assay Kit (Fluorometric)
Catalog No. CMTR-HMM-0069
Description A fluorometric assay kit for the quantitative determination of pyruvate in biological samples. The assay involves enzymatic oxidation of pyruvate by pyruvate oxidase, generating hydrogen peroxide that reacts with a fluorogenic probe in the presence of horseradish peroxidase to produce a fluorescent signal. The high sensitivity of fluorometric detection makes this kit suitable for samples with limited pyruvate content.
Intended Use Sensitive quantification of pyruvate levels in cell culture media, cell lysates, and biological fluids for metabolic flux analysis.
