Product Name Plasmid Fragmentation and Ligation Module for Long-Read Sequencing
Catalog No. REKI-0119
Description An enzymatic module for building full-length plasmid libraries on nanopore platforms. The module fragments plasmid DNA, finishes ends and supports barcode ligation without intermediate purification, and paired with the companion end-prep module it completes plasmid library construction in about two hours. Typical applications read entire plasmid sequences end to end, verify raw material in gene therapy manufacturing and sequence unknown plasmids de novo, with input as low as 50 ng.
Intended Use Full-length plasmid sequencing, gene therapy raw material quality control, de novo sequencing of unknown plasmids.
Principle / Technology Controlled enzymatic fragmentation generates sequence-ready plasmid fragments whose ends are repaired and A-tailed in the same tube before barcode attachment.
Sample Type Plasmid DNA
Performance Range / Specifications Input 50 ng to 1 ug; library preparation in roughly 2 hours; purification-free barcode ligation.
Reaction Conditions / Protocol Fragment plasmid DNA enzymatically, end repair and A-tail, then ligate barcodes with the companion module.
Components / Formulation Fragmentation enzyme mix, end finishing reagents, reaction buffers.
Storage Conditions -25 to -15 °C
Package Specifications 8 T, 24 T, 96 T
Product Form Liquid reagents
Key Features Two-hour path from plasmid to sequencer-ready library; low input requirement; no shearing hardware.
Compatibility Nanopore and CycloneSEQ long-read platforms; pairs with the companion end-prep module
