| Intended Use | Collection and anticoagulation of blood specimens for clinical biochemistry and emergency biochemistry testing; also suitable for certain blood rheology test items. Lithium heparin is the recommended anticoagulant for clinical assays measuring blood ion levels, as it is the least likely to interfere with the determination of other ions. |
