| Product Name | Glutathione S—transferase (GSH-ST) Assay Reagent (Colorimetric Method) |
| Catalog No. | ETR-HMM-0042 |
| Description | Glutathione S-transferase (GST) is a class of enzymes associated with liver detoxification, with high levels present in hepatocytes. Therefore, when hepatocytes are damaged, GSH-ST is often released into the bloodstream at an early stage. Elevated levels of GSH-ST in the blood often precede increases in alanine transaminase (ALT) and aspartate transaminase (AST), making elevated GSH-ST a sensitive indicator of liver damage. |
| Application | This product uses a colorimetric method to measure GSH-ST activity. |
