| Product Name | Glutathion Reductases (GR) Assay Reagent (Colorimetric Method) |
| Catalog No. | ETR-HMM-0047 |
| Description | Glutathione reductase is a flavoprotein enzyme, with each enzyme molecule containing one molecule of FAD. It is hydrogenated by the coenzyme NADPH and catalyzes the reduction of oxidized glutathione (GSSG) to reduced glutathione (GSH). Reduced glutathione (GSH) can maintain enzymes containing sulfhydryl groups (-SH) in a reduced and active state, preserve the integrity of red blood cell membranes, and prevent hemoglobin oxidation. |
| Application | This product uses a colorimetric method to measure GR activity. |
