Description A polyethylene glycol-based precipitation reagent for the rapid and efficient isolation of extracellular vesicles and exosomes from cell culture media, serum, plasma, and urine without ultracentrifugation.
Intended Use Isolation of exosomes and extracellular vesicles for RNA and protein biomarker discovery, functional studies, and diagnostic applications using standard laboratory centrifuges.
Principle / Technology PEG polymers exclude water from the hydration shell of extracellular vesicles, reducing their solubility and causing precipitation at low centrifugation speeds; proprietary formulation maximizes exosome yield while minimizing co-precipitation of protein aggregates.
