| Product Name | Creatine kinase (CK) Assay Reagent (Colorimetric Method) |
| Catalog No. | ETR-HMM-0044 |
| Description | Creatine kinase (CK) catalyzes the reaction between adenosine triphosphate (ATP) and creatine to form phosphocreatine, which is rapidly hydrolyzed into phosphate. At this point, ATP and adenosine diphosphate (ADP) remain stable. Adding ammonium molybdate forms phosphomolybdate, which can be further reduced to molybdenum blue. The enzyme activity can be calculated based on the amount of inorganic phosphate produced. |
| Application | This product uses a colorimetric method to determine CK activity. |
