Product Name Bacterial 16S rDNA V3-V4 Amplicon Library Prep Kit for mainstream sequencing Platform
Catalog No. REKI-0113
Description An amplicon kit targeting the V3-V4 hypervariable region of bacterial 16S rDNA on the mainstream sequencing platform. Region-specific primers amplify roughly the first 500 bp of the gene, and the reads deliver species classification, abundance estimation, population structure and phylogenetic context for microbiomes in stool, soil and other metagenomic material. The kit carries all reagents needed for bacterial 16S amplification and pairs with a dedicated tagment index kit for full-length index tagging before sequencing. Every lot is QC-verified for stable, repeatable library output.
Intended Use Microbial diversity analysis, bacterial species identification, microbiome studies of environmental and clinical metagenomes.
Principle / Technology The V3-V4 region is amplified with region-specific primers and converted into an indexed sequencing library for read-based taxonomic assignment.
Sample Type Metagenomic DNA from stool, soil and environmental samples
Performance Range / Specifications Input 100 pg to 10 ng; ~500 bp amplicons; reproducible community profiles across lots.
Reaction Conditions / Protocol Amplify the 16S rDNA V3-V4 region, tag amplicons with the companion tagment index kit, then sequence.
Components / Formulation 16S V3-V4 forward and reverse primers, PCR reagents, reaction buffers.
