| Product Name | Acetylcholinesterase (A-CHE) Assay Reagent (Colorimetric Method) |
| Catalog No. | ETR-HMM-0040 |
| Description | Acetylcholinesterase, also known as true cholinesterase, primarily originates from excitatory cells in the fetus and reflects the maturity of the nervous system. In cases of fetal neural tube closure defects (such as open spina bifida) and open abdominal wall defects, pseudocholinesterase (PchE) levels increase in amniotic fluid. The two can be distinguished by simultaneously measuring PchE activity in amniotic fluid and calculating the amniotic fluid ACHE/PchE ratio, which holds significant scientific research value. |
| Application | This product uses a colorimetric method to measure A-CHE activity. |
