Product Name 16S rDNA V3-V4 Bacterial Amplicon Library Prep Kit (mainstream-sequencing compatible)
Catalog No. REKI-0101
Description An amplicon library preparation kit that amplifies the V3-V4 hypervariable region of bacterial 16S rDNA for high-throughput sequencing on the compatible short-read platform, resolving microbial community composition, species identity, abundance and phylogeny in environmental and faecal samples. Forward and reverse primers amplify roughly the first 500 bp of the 16S rDNA gene from 100 pg to 10 ng of metagenomic DNA, and dual barcode primer kits complete indexed, pooled libraries. All components pass QC for reproducible amplicon output.
Intended Use Microbiome diversity analysis; bacterial species identification; environmental microbial population structure and phylogeny studies.
Principle / Technology Multiplex PCR amplifies the 16S rDNA V3-V4 region, after which barcoded amplification produces indexed amplicon libraries.
Sample Type Faeces, soil, metagenomic DNA
Performance Range / Specifications Input 100 pg to 10 ng metagenomic DNA; approximately 500 bp amplicon; reproducible library construction.
Specificity Targets bacterial 16S rDNA V3-V4 hypervariable region.
Reaction Conditions / Protocol Amplify the V3-V4 region with the supplied primers, attach dual barcodes, then pool and sequence.
Components / Formulation 16S amplification master mix and primer set.
Storage Conditions -25 to -15 °C
