Product Name Universal Blood, Cell, Tissue and Bacterial Genomic DNA Mini Extraction Kit
Catalog No. DREK-0092
Description A versatile silica-column kit for isolating high-quality genomic DNA from fresh or frozen anticoagulated blood, cultured cells, animal tissues and bacterial samples without phenol/chloroform extraction or alcohol precipitation.
Intended Use Genomic DNA preparation for PCR, multiplex PCR, restriction digestion, viral testing, library construction and next-generation sequencing.
Principle / Technology Sample-specific lysis followed by selective silica-membrane binding, washing and elution.
Detection Method Downstream genomic DNA analysis.
Sample Type Fresh or frozen anticoagulated blood, cultured cells, animal tissues, Gram-negative bacteria and Gram-positive bacteria.
Performance Range / Specifications High-yield, high-purity and high-integrity genomic DNA; a rapid animal-tissue workflow can be completed in approximately 30 minutes; 50- and 200-reaction formats.
Specificity Optimized buffer chemistry removes RNA, protein, lipid and other inhibitory contaminants while retaining genomic DNA.
Reaction Conditions / Protocol Lyse the selected sample using the applicable preparation route, clarify when required, bind DNA to the spin column, wash and elute.
Components / Formulation Sample-lysis and binding reagents, wash and elution buffers, silica spin columns and collection tubes.
Storage Conditions Store at 15-25°C.
Package Specifications 50 reactions; 200 reactions.
Product Form Universal genomic DNA spin-column kit.
Quality Control DNA yield, purity, integrity and downstream amplification compatibility are assessed during release testing.
Key Features Broad sample compatibility; phenol-free workflow; high DNA integrity; suitable for multiplex PCR and sequencing applications.
Shipping Conditions Ship at room temperature.
Compatibility PCR, multiplex PCR, restriction digestion, Southern blotting and sequencing workflows.
Application Notes / Precautions Use the sample-specific pretreatment route and avoid exceeding the recommended input to prevent column blockage.
Batch-to-Batch Consistency DNA yield, purity and integrity are controlled across production batches.
