A combined chemical and mechanical lysis releases nucleic acids from viruses, mycoplasmas, bacteria and fungi, and the purified product feeds directly into PCR, qPCR, metagenomic library construction or joint DNA/RNA library preparation. Pairing the kit with an automated magnetic extraction instrument enables high-throughput nucleic acid processing. |
