| Product Name | Tissue DNA Extraction Kit (20 rxns) |
| Catalog No. | SD-HMM-0003 |
| Description | Tissue DNA Kit provides a simple, fast and efficient method for DNA extraction from fresh tissue. After tissue samples are treated by tissue digestion solution and lysate, genomic DNA will be enriched on the surface of magnetic beads, and after washing and elution, high-yield and high-purity DNA can be obtained. Extracted product can be used in PCR, Real-time PCR, SNP genotyping, STR genotyping, second-generation sequencing and pharmacogenomics research, etc. |
| Inspection Principle | This kit provides a simple, rapid and efficient method to extract DNA from fresh tissue. After the tissue samples are treated with tissue digest and lysate, the surface of the magnetic beads will be enriched with genomic DNA, and after washing and elution steps, high rate and high purity DNA will be obtained. the extracted products can be directly used for PCR, Real-time PCR, SNP genotyping, STR genotyping, second generation sequencing and pharmacogenomics research. |
| Features | High-throughput, automated: up to 96 samples can be extracted in 40 mins.
High yield: 1-5 µg DNA can be extracted per mg of tissue sample. High purity: A260/A280 is between 1.8-1.9, A260/A230 value≥1.9. |

| Product Introduction | Extracting DNA from animal tissues requires effective lysis of diverse cell types and degradation of abundant proteins. This kit provides a powerful proteinase K-based digestion system to completely dissolve tissue, followed by a reliable purification method (often salt precipitation or spin-column based) to separate DNA from proteins, lipids, and RNA. It yields high-molecular-weight genomic DNA ideal for demanding applications. |
| Product Application | • Genotyping and mutation analysis from animal model tissues (mouse, rat, etc.). • Molecular analysis of clinical biopsy specimens (e.g., tumor tissue). • Genetic screening in livestock and veterinary diagnostics. • Wildlife conservation genetics and forensics. |
| Product Advantages | • Powerful Lysis: Efficiently digests a wide range of tissue types, including fibrous, fatty, or necrotic samples. • High DNA Integrity: Minimizes shearing to produce long DNA fragments suitable for Southern blotting or long-read sequencing. • User-Friendly Protocol: Clear steps guide users from tissue homogenization to pure DNA elution. • Consistent Yields: Delivers reproducible results across different tissue samples. |
For research use only, not for clinical use.
