Product Name Peptide-Based Cellular Delivery Reagent, Endoporter System
Catalog No. ATR-CTR-0011
Description A membrane-permeable peptide-based delivery system designed to transport proteins, peptides, and other macromolecules into the cytoplasm of living cells through a non-endocytic, direct membrane translocation mechanism.
Intended Use Intracellular delivery of functional proteins, antibodies, and peptide-based probes into live cells for protein complementation assays, intracellular epitope tagging, and functional studies requiring native protein delivery.
Principle / Technology Amphipathic peptide with leucine-rich hydrophobic face forms transient membrane perturbations that facilitate direct translocation of cargo across the plasma membrane into the cytoplasm without endosomal entrapment; cargo is rapidly released into the reducing environment of the cytoplasm.
Detection Method Protein delivery confirmed by immunofluorescence against delivered protein or functional assay of delivered enzyme activity
Sample Type Living mammalian cells of all types: cell lines, primary cells, stem cells, organoids
Performance Range / Specifications Protein delivery efficiency >50% of cells at 5–10 µM cargo concentration; functional enzyme activity within 1 hour of delivery
Sensitivity / LOD N/A
Specificity N/A
Reaction Conditions / Protocol Mix protein or peptide cargo with Endoporter reagent in PBS; incubate 5–15 min at room temperature; add to cells in serum-free medium for 30–60 min; wash cells; add complete medium; assay activity within 1–24 hours.
Components / Formulation Amphipathic membrane transduction peptide, 1 mM in DMSO, sterile-filtered
Storage Conditions -20°C, protect from moisture and light; thaw and aliquot for single use
Shelf Life 12 months at -20°C; use within 1 month after thawing
Package Specifications 0.5 mg, 2 mg, 10 mg
Product Form Lyophilized or DMSO solution
Quality Control Peptide purity by HPLC >95%, protein delivery efficiency validation with GFP or beta-galactosidase cargo, cytotoxicity testing
Key Features Non-endocytic delivery; functional protein delivery; rapid cytoplasmic access; compatible with diverse cargo sizes; validated for antibodies, enzymes, and transcription factors
