Product Name Neutral Laboratory Glassware Detergent, Phosphate-Free Concentrate
Catalog No. ATRCS-0016
Description A phosphate-free neutral pH detergent concentrate formulated for manual and automated washing of laboratory glassware, including beakers, flasks, graduated cylinders, and test tubes. This biodegradable formulation effectively removes organic residues, protein films, and particulate matter without leaving interfering residues that could compromise downstream analytical procedures.
Intended Use Designed for routine laboratory glassware cleaning in clinical chemistry, immunology, and microbiology laboratories. Suitable for use in automated laboratory glassware washers and manual soaking procedures.
Principle / Technology Surfactant-based emulsification and dispersion of organic and particulate contaminants at neutral pH
Detection Method Manual immersion or automated washer cycle; dilution ratio 1:100 to 1:200 with deionized water
Components / Formulation Non-ionic surfactants, anionic surfactants, chelating agents, corrosion inhibitors, preservatives
Storage Conditions Store at 15–30 °C in original container; avoid freezing
Shelf Life 24 months from date of manufacture when stored as recommended
Package Specifications 1 L, 5 L, 25 L HDPE containers
Product Form Clear to pale yellow liquid concentrate
Key Features Phosphate-free formulation meets environmental discharge regulations; non-corrosive to borosilicate glass, stainless steel, and polypropylene; free-rinsing with low foam profile; biodegradable surfactants exceed OECD 301B requirements
Purity Active surfactant content ≥30% (w/w)
Concentration As specified (concentrate or ready-to-use)
Activity / Unit Definition Cleaning efficacy validated by instrument carryover testing
Molecular Weight Not applicable — detergent/surfactant formulations
Source / Origin Synthetic detergent and surfactant components
pH Range / Optimal pH pH 6.8–7.2 (1% aqueous solution at 25 °C)
Shipping Conditions Ambient temperature; protect from freezing during transit
Expiration Date / Stability Stable for 24 months under recommended storage; avoid prolonged exposure to temperatures above 40 °C
Regulatory / Compliance Compliant with ISO 15883 washer-disinfector standards; REACH-registered surfactants; RoHS compliant packaging
Compatibility Compatible with borosilicate glass, soda-lime glass, stainless steel (316L), polypropylene, PTFE, and silicone; not recommended for polycarbonate at elevated temperatures
Recommended Buffer System Use undiluted or dilute per instrument manufacturer specification
Application Notes / Precautions For heavy soil loads, pre-rinse glassware with tap water. For automated washers, use manufacturer-recommended injection settings. Rinse thoroughly with deionized water; residual detergent can interfere with spectrophotometric assays.
Batch-to-Batch Consistency pH and conductivity within ±5% of reference lot; cleaning efficacy validated

For research use only, not for clinical use.
