Product Name Mycoplasma Removal Reagent
Catalog No. ATRCS-0037
Description A cell-culture decontamination reagent designed to eliminate intracellular and extracellular mycoplasma by disrupting membrane structure rather than simply suppressing microbial growth.
Intended Use Removal of mycoplasma contamination from cultured cells, serum and cell-culture media.
Principle / Technology Membrane-disrupting chemistry causes direct mycoplasma lysis and is designed to avoid antibiotic-resistance selection.
Sample Type Contaminated cell cultures, serum and culture media.
Performance Range / Specifications Treatment is typically completed within 3-7 days; successful treatment can maintain cultures free of recurrent mycoplasma contamination for up to four months.
Specificity Active against a broad range of mycoplasma, including antibiotic-tolerant strains, with additional inhibitory activity against selected Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria.
Reaction Conditions / Protocol Add to contaminated cultures according to the treatment workflow and continue treatment for approximately 3-7 days.
Storage Conditions Store at -30 to -15°C.
Package Specifications 100 µL; 500 µL; 1,000 µL.
Product Form Concentrated liquid mycoplasma-removal reagent.
Key Features Direct mycoplasma killing; short treatment period; low cellular toxicity; broad cell-line compatibility; no antibiotic-resistance mechanism.
Shipping Conditions Ship at 0°C or below.
Compatibility Common cell lines, primary cells, embryonic stem cells and induced pluripotent stem cells.
Application Notes / Precautions For sensitive cells, lower working concentrations such as 1:2,000 or greater dilution may reduce cytotoxic effects; heavily contaminated cultures may require extended treatment.

For research use only, not for clinical use.
