Product Name Magrose NHS Kit
Catalog No. SM-HMM-0034
Description Magrose NHS Kit is a porous microsphere based on natural hydrophilic polymer agarose with a particle size of 10-30 µm, paired with the buffer required for coupling. The NHS group on the surface of the beads is capable of forming stable peptide bonds with proteins and other molecules with a primary amine group for affinity purification or analytical detection of antibodies, antigens and other biomolecules.
Features Simple, no need for activation, can be directly covalently coupled with biological ligands;
High efficiency, the coupling efficiency of biological ligands can reach more than 90%, which is much higher than that of carboxylated magnetic beads, and the binding load of ligands is higher at the same time;
Rapid, 1~2 h to complete the coupling of biological ligands;
Mild, room temperature or 4°Ccoupling, the pH of the coupling system is 5~9;
Stable, forming stable amide bonds, preventing ligand detachment.
Good biocompatibility, reduce non-specific adsorption.
Average Particle Size 10-30 µm
Preservation Fluid Anhydrous isopropyl alcohol
Concentration 20% (v/v)
Applications In Vitro Diagnostics
Immunoassays
Cell Sorting
Immunoprecipitation/co-precipitation
Protein/antibody Isolation and Purification

The development of affinity purification and analytical detection technologies has become increasingly critical in life sciences, biotechnology, and in vitro diagnostic research. Researchers and industry professionals require reliable tools to efficiently isolate, purify, and analyze biomolecules such as antibodies, antigens, and proteins—key components in experiments ranging from basic research to diagnostic assay development.
Magnetic microspheres have emerged as a cornerstone in these applications due to their ease of manipulation, high surface area, and compatibility with various coupling chemistries. Among them, agarose-based magnetic microspheres stand out for their natural hydrophilicity and excellent biocompatibility, which minimize non-specific adsorption and preserve the activity of sensitive biomolecules.
The Magrose NHS Kit is designed to address the growing demand for streamlined, high-performance coupling solutions. By integrating NHS (N-hydroxysuccinimide) functional groups onto porous agarose microspheres, the kit eliminates the need for complex pre-activation steps, allowing for direct covalent coupling with primary amine-containing molecules. This design aligns with the industry’s shift toward time-efficient, user-friendly tools that do not compromise on coupling efficiency or stability.
Tailored for research use exclusively (not for clinical applications), the kit supports a wide range of research scenarios, including immunoassays, cell sorting, immunoprecipitation, and protein/antibody purification, providing a versatile solution for laboratories and research institutions worldwide.
