Description Specialized magnetic bead-based kit for enrichment and purification of microRNA (miRNA) and other small RNA species (<200 nt) from total RNA, cells, tissues, and biofluids. Proprietary binding chemistry preferentially captures small RNA molecules while depleting large RNA species (>200 nt), mRNA, and rRNA. Extracted miRNA is suitable for miRNA-seq library preparation, RT-qPCR miRNA profiling, and microarray analysis.

Principle / Technology Selective binding chemistry: small RNAs (<200 nt) preferentially bind to magnetic beads under optimized buffer conditions; large RNAs remain in solution and are removed; bound small RNAs washed and eluted. Starting from total RNA, miRNA enrichment factor >50-fold
Detection Method Mix total RNA or cell/tissue lysate with binding buffer and magnetic beads; incubate 10 min; magnetic separate (large RNAs in supernatant discarded); wash 2× with small RNA wash buffer; elute miRNA in 20-50 µL nuclease-free water
