Description In the secondary prevention of cervical cancer, conducting cervical cancer screening and triaging individuals with abnormal screening results are important management components. DNA methylation testing is a novel molecular detection technique mentioned in the WHO Guidelines for Cervical Cancer Screening and Treatment Prevention, and it can be used for triaging individuals with abnormal cervical cancer screening results.
Application This product is used for in vitro qualitative detection of the methylation status of ASTN1, DLX1, ITGA4, RXFP3, SOX17 and ZNF671 genes in human cervical exhalated cells. It is applicable to women over 30 years old who test positive for 12 high-risk HPV (hrHPV) genotypes (31, 33, 35, 39, 45, 51, 52, 56, 58, 59, 66, 68), to help identify whether colposcopy is needed and achieve the purpose of triage management.
