Description A high-sensitivity spin-column kit for simultaneous purification of viral DNA and RNA from diverse biological specimens. Optimized chemistry supports recovery of low-abundance viral nucleic acids for amplification and sequencing.
Intended Use Viral DNA and RNA isolation for reverse transcription, PCR, qPCR, next-generation sequencing and Northern blotting.
Principle / Technology Viral lysis followed by selective silica-membrane adsorption, washing and elution of DNA and RNA.
Detection Method Downstream molecular detection and sequencing.
Sample Type Whole blood, serum, plasma, swabs, tissue, bronchoalveolar lavage fluid and cell-culture supernatant.
Performance Range / Specifications Approximately 12-minute room-temperature workflow; 50 reactions.
Reaction Conditions / Protocol Lyse the specimen, bind viral nucleic acids to the spin column, wash and elute in RNase-free solution.
Storage Conditions Store the frozen component set at -30 to -15°C and the room-temperature component set at 15-25°C.
Package Specifications 50 reactions.
Product Form Spin-column viral DNA/RNA co-isolation kit.
Key Features High recovery of low-abundance viral nucleic acids; twelve-minute workflow; broad specimen compatibility; simultaneous DNA/RNA purification.
Shipping Conditions Ship the frozen component set at 0°C or below.
Compatibility Reverse transcription, PCR, qPCR, next-generation sequencing and Northern blotting workflows.
Application Notes / Precautions Use nuclease-free consumables and process low-titer specimens promptly. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles of specimens and frozen components.
