Product Name Cell and Tissue Genomic DNA Mini Extraction Kit
Catalog No. DREK-0100
Description A silica-column kit for isolating genomic DNA from animal tissues, cultured cells and selected liquid samples without phenol/chloroform extraction or alcohol precipitation.
Intended Use Genomic DNA preparation for restriction digestion, PCR, qPCR, viral DNA testing, library construction, Southern blotting and next-generation sequencing.
Principle / Technology Proteolytic lysis followed by selective silica-membrane binding, washing and elution.
Detection Method Downstream genomic DNA analysis.
Sample Type 1-20 mg animal tissue, fewer than 5 × 10^6 cultured cells, saliva, milk and other compatible liquid samples.
Performance Range / Specifications Approximately 30-60-minute extraction after sample digestion; column capacity approximately 35-40 µg DNA; 100 reactions.
Specificity Selective genomic DNA recovery with removal of protein, RNA and other sample-derived inhibitors.
Reaction Conditions / Protocol Digest and lyse the sample, establish binding conditions, load the lysate onto the spin column, wash and elute purified genomic DNA.
Components / Formulation Cell/tissue lysis and digestion reagents, binding, wash and elution buffers, silica spin columns and collection tubes.
Storage Conditions Store at 15-25°C.
Package Specifications 100 reactions.
Product Form Cell and tissue genomic DNA spin-column kit.
Quality Control DNA yield, purity, integrity and downstream PCR performance are evaluated with representative tissue and cell samples.
Key Features Broad cell and tissue compatibility; phenol-free purification; approximately 30-60-minute workflow; high-purity genomic DNA.
Shipping Conditions Ship at room temperature.
Compatibility Restriction digestion, PCR, qPCR, Southern blotting and sequencing workflows.
Application Notes / Precautions Thorough digestion and homogenization are essential. Reduce input for nucleic-acid-rich tissues to prevent column blockage.
Batch-to-Batch Consistency Genomic DNA yield and purity are controlled across production batches.

For research use only, not for clinical use.
