Detection Principle The potassium ion in serum can react with sodium tetraphenylborate to form potassium tetraphenylborate, which is insoluble in water, and the turbidity generated is proportional to the concentration of potassium ion within a certain range, and the content of serum potassium can be quantitatively detected by measuring its turbidity.
