| Product Name | Alpha-Fetoprotein/Carcinoembryonic Antigen Assay Reagent, Fluorescence Flow Cytometry |
| Catalog No. | TMTR-HMM-0031 |
| Description | Elevated levels of alpha-fetoprotein in serum can be observed in certain malignant diseases, especially in non-seminoma testicular cancer and primary cell liver cancer. Research has found that over 70% of patients with primary liver cancer have relatively high levels of AFP in their serum. A continuous increase in carcinoembryonic antigen may be associated with progressive malignant diseases and poor treatment response, while a decrease is usually associated with a better prognosis and good treatment response. Studies have found the clinical relevance of CEA detection in the follow-up treatment of patients with colorectal cancer, gastric cancer, breast cancer, lung cancer, prostate cancer, pancreatic cancer and ovarian cancer. Follow-up studies on patients with colorectal cancer, breast cancer and lung cancer have shown that preoperative CEA levels have prognostic significance. |
| Application | This product is used for the combined detection of two tumor markers, AFP and CEA, to assist in the clinical diagnosis of liver cancer. |
