| Product Name | Carbohydrate Antigen 19-9 (CA19-9) Assay Reagent, Magnetic Particle Based Chemiluminescent Immunoassay |
| Catalog No. | TMTR-HMM-0020 |
| Description | Carbohydrate antigen CA19-9 is a mucin-type carbohydrate tumor marker with a molecular weight of 10kDa. This mucin can be expressed on the cell membranes of the pancreas, gastrointestinal mucosa and liver tissues of normal fetuses and adults, and can be released into the intercellular matrix and serum. In serum, CA19-9 exists in the form of sialic acid. The level of CA19-9 in the serum of most patients with pancreatic cancer, hepatobiliary carcinoma and other cancers is significantly elevated. CA19-9 has a relatively high detection rate for malignant tumors of the digestive tract such as pancreas, hepatobiliary duct, stomach, and colon and rectum, especially pancreatic cancer. It also has certain clinical significance for the observation of the therapeutic effect and prognosis of malignant tumors, especially for the follow-up after surgical treatment. |
