Description Alta DiagnoTech Oligo(dT) magnetic beads carry covalently coupled oligo(dT) for complementary binding to the poly(A) tails of eukaryotic mRNA. The beads rapidly isolate intact, high-purity mRNA from total RNA or directly from animal and plant tissues or cell lysates.
Intended Use Isolation of eukaryotic mRNA for RT-PCR, solid-phase cDNA library construction, RACE and Northern blot workflows.
Principle / Technology Poly(A)-oligo(dT) complementary hybridization followed by magnetic separation.
Sample Type Eukaryotic total RNA, animal tissue, plant tissue and cell lysate
