| Description | Trypan blue is a tetra-sulfonated anionic hydrophilic dye commonly used to assess cell membrane integrity and cell viability. After treatment with this reagent, the activity of plant tissues can be analyzed by observing under a microscope or directly with the naked eye and taking photographs. Uninjured, highly active tissues appear as the background color or light yellowish-brown after staining; while damaged or dead areas with low activity are stained blue. |

| Notes | The detection reagents provided in this kit are sterile. It is recommended to perform the procedure in a laminar flow hood to avoid bacterial contamination. The plant tissue activity detection reagents in this product have been optimized and typically do not form precipitates under room temperature storage conditions. However, if stored for an extended period or at low temperatures, a small amount of granular precipitates may form. These can be fully dissolved by incubating at 37°C in a water bath for approximately 10 minutes. Once the precipitates are completely dissolved, the reagents can be used normally. During the experiment, adjust the size and shape of the tissue as needed to ensure it is as flat as possible for observation. The plant tissue activity detection reagents can be reused, typically 3–5 times, with the exact number of uses depending on the actual staining results. This product contains trypan blue, which is toxic to humans. Handle with extreme caution and ensure proper protective measures to avoid direct contact with the skin or inhalation. |
