Product Name PCR Reaction Sample Diluent, Nuclease-Free, with Carrier RNA
Catalog No. ATRD-0023
Description Nuclease-free diluent with synthetic poly(A) carrier RNA for low-concentration nucleic acid sample dilution. Carrier RNA saturates non-specific binding sites on tube surfaces, preventing adsorption losses of low-copy-number templates. Critical for digital PCR, pathogen detection, and single-cell genomics where template loss causes false negatives.
Intended Use Low-concentration DNA/RNA dilution for sensitive PCR/qPCR; prevention of adsorption losses; pathogen detection standard preparation; digital PCR sample partitioning; single-cell genomics.
Principle / Technology Carrier RNA (5 ng/µL) saturates nucleic acid binding sites on polypropylene; EDTA chelation inhibits nucleases; low-EDTA minimizes PCR inhibition
Detection Method Ready-to-use; dilute samples directly; use for standard curve matrix matching
Components / Formulation Synthetic poly(A) carrier RNA (5 ng/µL), Tris-HCl (1 mM, pH 8.0), EDTA (0.1 mM), nuclease-free water; 0.22 µm filtered, gamma-irradiated
Storage Conditions -20 °C long-term; 2-8 °C short-term (<3 months); aliquot to avoid contamination
Shelf Life 24 months at -20 °C; 12 months at 4 °C
Package Specifications 1 mL, 5 mL, 10 mL in LoBind tubes; 50 mL HDPE bottle
Product Form Clear colorless liquid in low-bind packaging
Key Features Carrier RNA recovers >90% of 10-copy templates vs. <50% with water; nuclease-free certified; low EDTA (0.1 mM); supplied in LoBind tubes; gamma-irradiated sterile
