Product Name Nucleic Acid Sample Diluent, TE-Based, Nuclease-Free
Catalog No. ATRD-0021
Description Nuclease-free TE-based diluent (Tris-EDTA, pH 8.0) for dilution of DNA and RNA samples in molecular biology workflows. Filtered, autoclaved, and lot-tested for DNase, RNase, and nucleic acid contamination. EDTA chelates divalent cations required for nuclease activity, providing passive nuclease protection.
Intended Use DNA/RNA dilution for PCR, qPCR, sequencing, microarrays; nucleic acid standard preparation; short-term diluted sample storage; oligonucleotide resuspension.
Principle / Technology Tris maintains pH 8.0 for nucleic acid stability; EDTA chelates Mg²⁺/Ca²⁺ nuclease cofactors providing passive inhibition
Detection Method Ready-to-use; no dilution required
Components / Formulation Tris-HCl (10 mM, pH 8.0), EDTA (1 mM), nuclease-free water; 0.22 µm filtered, autoclaved
Storage Conditions 15-25 °C; keep tightly closed to prevent nuclease contamination
