Product Name |
NucGreen (2 mM in DMSO) |
Catalog No. |
CATR-HMM-0014 |
Description |
NucGreen is a membrane-permeable DNA dye. The dye preferentially binds to dsDNA and emits green fluorescence, making it suitable for staining live bacteria, including both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. Unlike SYBR series dyes, NucGreen is highly stable and can be handled and stored at room temperature without degradation. Bacteria stained with NucGreen can be detected using fluorescence microscopy and flow cytometry. |
Application |
This product is used for nucleic acid staining. |
Spectral Parameters |
Ex/Em = 503/530 nm (DNA-bound) |
Applicable Instruments |
Spectrophotometer, fluorescence microscope, flow cytometer |

Features |
Wide applicability: Suitable for most bacteria;
Good stability: Strong fluorescence brightness, good anti-quenching properties, and product stability, easy to store and transport;
Small batch-to-batch variation: The product is developed in-house by the company, with good control of batch-to-batch variation;
Membrane permeability: Has membrane permeability, suitable for staining live bacteria; |
Notes |
Fluorescent dyes are susceptible to quenching. Please avoid exposure to light to slow down fluorescence quenching. |
