Description EdU, or 5-ethynyl-2’-deoxyuridine (5-Ethynyl-2’ -deoxyuridine), is a thymidine nucleoside analog that can replace thymidine (T) and incorporate into replicating DNA molecules during cell proliferation. By leveraging the specific reaction between EdU and fluorescently labeled dyes, this reagent enables rapid detection of cellular DNA replication activity, thereby providing a fast and accurate assessment of cell proliferation capacity.
Application This product is suitable for live animal injections and for detecting cell proliferation in vitro.

Materials to Bring 96/24/12/6-well culture plates or culture dishes; 10 mM PBS, pH 7.2–7.6; 4% paraformaldehyde fixative (in PBS); permeabilization reagent (0.5% Triton X-100 in PBS); 2 mg/mL glycine solution (in ddH₂O); 3% BSA in PBS, pH 7.2–7.6; 1% BSA in PBS, pH 7.2–7.6; ddH₂O
Storage The powder should be stored in the dark at -20°C and is valid for one year. When prepared as a solution, it should be stored in the dark at -80°C and is valid for six months. When stored in the dark at -20°C, it is valid for one month.
