Product Name Custom DNA Oligonucleotide Synthesis Service (25 nmol, Desalted)
Catalog No. PRIPRO-0001
Description A custom DNA oligonucleotide synthesis service delivering unmodified single-stranded DNA fragments at the 25 nanomole synthesis scale with standard desalting purification. Sequences are built via solid-phase phosphoramidite chemistry on automated synthesizers using controlled pore glass (CPG) solid supports. Each oligo is cleaved, deprotected, and desalted to remove residual small-molecule by-products. The final product is supplied as a dried pellet quantified by UV absorbance at 260 nm and accompanied by a certificate of analysis. Suitable for routine PCR, sequencing, site-directed mutagenesis, and general molecular biology applications where standard purity is acceptable.
Intended Use Designed for use as primers in standard endpoint PCR, Sanger sequencing reactions, site-directed mutagenesis, and general molecular cloning workflows in research laboratories.
Principle / Technology Solid-phase phosphoramidite synthesis with CPG support
Detection Method UV spectrophotometry (A260) for quantification and purity assessment
Sample Type Purified template DNA or cDNA for downstream PCR/sequencing
Performance Range / Specifications 2–60 bases; synthesis yield decreases with length >50 nt
Sensitivity / LOD N/A — this is a custom synthesis reagent, not an assay
Specificity Sequence-specific as ordered; no cross-hybridization guarantee
Reaction Conditions / Protocol Resuspend in nuclease-free water or TE buffer (pH 8.0) to desired working concentration (typically 100 µM stock). Use 0.1–1.0 µM final concentration per primer in PCR.
Components / Formulation One tube containing lyophilized oligonucleotide pellet
Storage Conditions –20 °C, protected from light; avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles
Shelf Life 24 months when stored as dried pellet at –20 °C
Package Specifications One microcentrifuge tube (1.5 mL or 2.0 mL) with 25 nmol scale yield
Product Form Lyophilized white to off-white pellet
Quality Control Each oligo is analyzed by UV spectrophotometry (A260/A280 ratio ≥1.8) and matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF MS) for molecular weight confirmation. A certificate of analysis is provided for each synthesis lot.
Key Features Rapid turnaround within 2–3 business days; online sequence entry and order tracking; customizable 5′ or 3′ modifications available; competitive pricing for routine research oligos; re-synthesis guarantee for quality failures.
Purity ≥85% by capillary electrophoresis; desalted grade
Concentration Lyophilized from a nominal 25 nmol synthesis scale; typical yield 6–15 OD260 units (sequence dependent)
Activity / Unit Definition Hybridizes to complementary target sequence under standard annealing conditions
Molecular Weight Calculated based on sequence composition; reported on COA
Source / Origin Synthetic; no animal- or plant-derived materials
pH Range / Optimal pH Optimal resuspension in TE buffer pH 7.5–8.5
Shipping Conditions Ambient temperature; lyophilized oligos are stable during transit
Expiration Date / Stability 24 months at –20 °C dry; 12 months at 2–8 °C in solution
Regulatory / Compliance For research use only; not for diagnostic or therapeutic procedures
Compatibility Compatible with standard Taq DNA polymerase, proofreading polymerases, and all major thermal cycler brands
Recommended Buffer System TE buffer (10 mM Tris-HCl, 1 mM EDTA, pH 8.0) recommended for resuspension
Application Notes / Precautions Centrifuge tube briefly before opening to ensure pellet is at bottom. Resuspend in sterile nuclease-free water or TE buffer. Verify concentration by UV measurement before use. For long-term storage, aliquot and keep at –20 °C.
Batch-to-Batch Consistency Each synthesis batch is independently verified by MS and UV; mass accuracy within ±0.05% of theoretical value

For research use only, not for clinical use.
